Nicole Busch is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist who has
enjoyed an extensive career in interventional pain management. She completed her Masters in Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin in 2015. She began her career practicing internal medicine as a hospitalist at St. David's Medical
Center prior to transitioning to interventional pain management in 2017. Nicole quickly
fell in love with the specialty and has since spent her time focused on educating herself on the most
cutting-edge therapies in minimally invasive spine and neuromodulation.
Nicole is an active member of the North American Neuromodulation Society
(NANS)/Advanced Practice Provider Subcommittee, for which she is the current chair; The American Society for Pain and
Neuroscience (ASPN); Texas Clinical Nurse Specialists; Austin Advanced Practice
Nurses; and National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists. In addition, she can
often be found giving presentations on the weekend both at conferences and at clinics
around the country to help educate other Advanced Practice Providers on various topics
in pain management. She is devoted to helping empower others in her specialty to
reach their greatest potential within the scope of their practice.
