Director
Genesis Research Services
Broadmeadow, Australia
I am a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and established Australia's first multidisciplinary private pain clinic in 1999.
I am Director of Hunter Pain Specialists, Co-Director of Innervate Pain Management Services, and Director/Principal Investigator of Geneses Research Services.
I am the founding president of the Neuromodulation Society of Australia and New Zealand (NSANZ), Immediate Past-President of the International Neuromodulation Society (INS), Conjoint Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle NSW Australia, and an Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong.
Participating in continuing professional development by media such as hands-on experience, conferences, webinars, journal articles and involvement in medical and scientific advisory boards keeps me abreast of changes.
I serve on the Examination Committee, Professional Standards Committee, Research and Innovation Committee, and the Procedures Working Group for the Faculty of Pain Medicine (ANZCA).
I am a published author in the field of pain medicine and am a reviewer for the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). I have conducted several world-first spinal cord stimulator implants, including first-in-man pain and device studies. My passion is furthering the boundaries of pain medicine and teaching colleagues in state-of-the-art pain management, contributing to the collective knowledge of my peers.
