Derek Doss is a 7th year MSTP student under the mentorship of Dr. Dario Englot at Vanderbilt University. He defended his PhD in 2025 and will graduate with his MD in 2026. He is interested in studying brain networks in epilepsy and utilizing neuromodulation to improve the lives of patients with epilepsy. His career goal is to become a neurosurgeon-scientist and he will be applying for neurosurgery residency in the 2025-2026 season.
