Muhib Khan, M.B.B.S., M.D., RPNI, is an Associate Professor of Neurology in the Division of Cerebrovascular Diseases, Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Khan serves as the Director of the Neurosonology Laboratory and leads the neuromodulation for stroke recovery clinic at Mayo Clinic. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan in 2005. He completed an internship and research associate training at Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his neurology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI from 2008-2012 and vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, Dr. Khan served as a faculty at Brown University and Michigan State University. Dr. Khan's clinical practice and research interests include biomarkers for stroke recovery, neuromodulation to enhance post stroke recovery, use of transcranial doppler in the evaluation of stroke etiology and geographical disparities of stroke care.
