Dr. Murphy is a fellowship-trained, double-board-certified interventional pain specialist at North Texas Orthopedics in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Dr. Murphy operates with a deep sense of compassion and dedication to cutting-edge technology, patient care, and research. Her disciplined, thoughtful, and reliable approach to medicine reflects her passion for improving lives. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Dr. Murphy was honored as one of the Top Ten Outstanding Seniors. She received a full scholarship to Texas Tech Medical School and completed her residency at Vanderbilt and a fellowship at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago. She is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine.
Dr. Murphy’s bicultural background enhances her adaptability and global perspective, contributing to her success. Among her many accolades, she has been named Chair of Innovation and Growth for the United Musculoskeletal Partners National Leadership Board, executive board member/Treasurer at the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN), and Chair of the Women in Neuromodulation (WIN) committee at the North America Neuromodulation Society (NANS). In addition, she has delivered over 90 talks worldwide, advancing spinal cord stimulation and pain management.
