Dr. Kia Lor is an Instructor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Lor currently serves as the Medical Director for both the Inpatient Pain Service and the intrathecal drug delivery system (IDDS) practice at Mayo Clinic. Her clinical and research interests include neuromodulation, cancer-associated pain, chronic post-surgical pain, obesity-related pain management, and simulation education.
