I am a fourth-year MD/PhD student completing the second year of my PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I research pathological brain networks in drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE), with a particular focus on the role of thalamus in DRE pathophysiology and neuromodulation therapy. I am currently implementing extended stimulation protocols to trial therapeutic stimulation parameters and develop biomarkers to guide optimal target selection when multiple thalamic nuclei are candidates.
