    Dr. Singh is an associate professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Emory University School of Medicine, where she holds several leadership roles, including division chief of pain medicine, co-director of research for the pain division and director of cancer pain.

    Dr. Singh earned her medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College in India. She completed her anesthesia residency at Indiana University and a fellowship in pain medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. As a KL2 scholar in the NIH-funded Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance, she earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research and led a clinical trial on the use of intranasal ketamine for cancer pain.

    Dr. Singh has a national reputation in pain management and has authored more than 25 publications, including 10 original research articles. She has delivered dozens of invited talks and hands-on workshops. She has received multiple research awards, including the Robert C. Coddington Award for best research during her internship, the Harold Jerry Levy Award for excellence in research from Emory’s Department of Anesthesiology and the Lisa Stearns Award from the North American Neuromodulation Society for clinical and scientific work in cancer pain interventional therapies and neuromodulation.
