Robert W Bina is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix (’13) and completed his residency training at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. He completed fellowship training in Epilepsy and Restorative Neuroscience with Joseph Neimat, M.D., at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky and had additional fellowship training under Ryder Gwinn, M.D., in Epilepsy and Functional Restoration at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
He has received awards for humanism and education during residency and teaching and mentoring as faculty. He provides didactic medical education for undergraduate medical students at the UA COM-Phoenix, and is the Residency Director for the Neurosurgery Residency. He has several collaborative research efforts with ASU and Virginia Tech. His practice is Functional Restoration and Surgical Epilepsy.
