David N. Constantine, Co-Founder & CEO of Juniper Biomedical, has been working on medical innovations for over 20 years. His work has included multiple clinical domains including endovascular, sports medicine, GI and pelvic health as well as multiple technology domains including access tools, ultrasonics, single use interventional/surgical products, telemedicine and neuromodulation. David began his career as a biomedical engineer in large multi-national MedTech companies, including Medtronic and Smith & Nephew. He made a transition into startup environments with OmniSonics Medical Technologies where David worked across functions and took part in closing a co-development deal with Boston Scientific worth $235M. Since then, he has co-founded several companies including two MedTech companies and raised capital from angel, family office and VC sources in the US and abroad. David graduated from Trinity College with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. Through his startup experiences, David has been a finalist or winner of programs including MIT Hacking Medicine, MassChallenge, MassMedic IGNITE, UMASS M2D2 $200k and received awards from NIH SPARC Neuromod Prizes 1, 2, and 3, NIH SBIR/STTR programs and other NIH Subawards. David presented Juniper Biomedical as a grand prize finalist in MedTech Innovator '24.
