The panel in this proposed session consists of Pain Medicine physicians, Neurosurgeon, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Neuromodulation for Pain program co-ordinator, Psychologist, and a Neuromodulation outcomes researcher. The expertise and perspectives offered by this panel would allow the audience to gain insights into pertinent aspects of assessment, pre-implant education, and post-implant optimization of patients who receive neuromodulation implants for pain. The panelists will share their personal experience and knowledge of use of validated and widely available assessment tools, neuromodulation education sessions for patients and their carers, and post-implant support therapies including physical and psychological therapies for optimization of outcomes of neuromodulation.
