Dr. Christos Constantinidis is a Stevenson Chair and Professor of Biomedical Engineerring, Neuroscience, and Psychology at Vanderbilt University; and Professor of Ophthalmology, Radiology, and Neurological Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He received his doctorate from the Johns Hopkins Shcool of Medicine and completed postdoctoral training at the Yale School of Medicine. His research focuses on the neural basis of cognitive functions in non-human primate models, and human patients. Most recently he has focused on Deep Brain Stimulation targeting the cholinergic forebrain as a means of improving cognitive performance.
