Prof. Dr. Nebojsa Nick Knezevic, MD, PhD is the Vice Chair for Research at the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, and a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology and Surgery at the College of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the current President of the Illinois Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and Treasurer of the North American Neuromodulation Society. Professor Knezevic has extensive expertise in clinical research and has published more than 200 peer-reviewed scientific articles, cited more than 8,000 times (h index 46). He is a member of the Editorial Board of multiple anesthesia and pain journals, including the Section Editor (Pain Physician, Pain Practice), and Associate Editor for Anesthesia & Analgesia. He is also a recognized lecturer worldwide and has delivered over 300 invited lectures and keynote speeches at national and international conferences.
Dr. Knezevic received multiple recognitions and excellence awards for patient care, teaching, outstanding research, and academic achievements, including the Manchikanti Excellence Award for 2021 and the Distinguished Service Award for 2025!
