    Dr. Tolga Suvar is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist, currently serving as the Program Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship at Rush University. He completed his pain medicine fellowship at Rush University and his anesthesiology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

    Dr. Suvar specializes in multidisciplinary, evidence-based approaches to treating chronic pain, with a focus on interventional therapies, neuromodulation, and perioperative pain management. He is committed to minimizing opioid use by leveraging advanced techniques and personalized care plans that prioritize functional outcomes and patient quality of life.

    Practicing at both the Rush Pain Center and University Pain Physicians, Dr. Suvar manages a wide range of pain conditions, including spine-related pain, neuropathic syndromes, and cancer-related pain.

    In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Suvar is deeply dedicated to education and mentorship. As fellowship director, he is actively involved in training the next generation of pain specialists, with an emphasis on academic rigor, hands-on procedural skill, and compassionate care.
