Kate Wang is a Research Assistant in Dr. Dario Englot’s lab at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Department of Neurosurgery. Her research examines network dynamics in epilepsy using human intracranial EEG data. She graduated with a BS from Vanderbilt University in May 2025. She previously worked in Dr. Catie Chang’s lab at Vanderbilt University as an undergraduate student, where her research focused on investigating vigilance-linked fMRI signals in relation to subcortical structure and cognition in Alzheimer’s disease. She has previously presented this work at the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) and SPIE Medical Imaging conferences, and her research was recognized by the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and VISE Summer Fellowship.
