D. Scott Kreiner, MD is Chief Medical Officer for Neuromodulation at Boston Scientific, where he provides clinical and strategic leadership across the neuromodulation portfolio, with a focus on evidence development, patient safety, and responsible adoption of new technologies for chronic pain and spine-related conditions.
Dr. Kreiner is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine and continues to practice as an Interventional Spine and Pain Management Physician at Barrow Brain and Spine. He previously served as Director of Interventional Spine & Sports Medicine and as Director of an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship. He is the Pain Management physician for the Arizona Cardinals and also holds a faculty appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix.
Dr. Kreiner recently completed his term as President of the North American Spine Society and now serves as Past-President. He is widely recognized for leadership in evidence-based spine care, clinical guideline development, and health policy. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and clinical guidelines and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international meetings.
